1. Breville Tea Brewer- best tea kettle

Let’s start our discussion about the best tea kettle. You can easily trust our recommendations because our experts are really honest about this.
This is a pick from our first round of testing and (still) an excellent splurge for the seasoned tea drinker. $300, 51 oz Breville capacity with a stainless steel base, it’s technically a kettle – but it’s also a tea kettle, and by far the most ornate electric kettle we’ve tested.
It features hot water and tea buttons with settings to specify the perfect temperature for brewing green, black, white, herbal, oolong, or custom and fine teas. You can also choose whether you want strong, medium, mild, or custom tea.
The digital display gives you a readout of what it is the brewer works and has a keep-warm button that helps keep water hot for up to 60 minutes. In addition, the Breville comes with a basket for your loose-leaf tea that automatically starts when you select your options, as well as a teaspoon measuring spoon.
As a tea lover, I really liked these features, but it’s a luxury appliance that’s only worth it if you’re a regular drinker of loose tea and have a coin counted on such an expensive teapot. Read our Breville One-Touch Tea Maker review. Hope you can understand which one is the best tea kettle.

7. Zwilling Enfinigy Cool Touch kettle- Best tea kettle

I like this kettle about as much as I dislike its name “Enfinigy”, which means a lot. Leaving the ignition aside, the Zwilling kettle is absolutely atrocious. This model may not have as many bells and whistles as some of the others on our list, but for me, it’s a perfect size (1.5 liters) with a robust construction and a simple, eye-pleasing design.
It also has a cooling exterior so the outside stays cool even as the liquid inside boils. Speaking of which, the Zwilling kettle was right on par with some of the fastest boilers in the group, it only takes 2 minutes 40 seconds to get up to temperature.
It’s not the cheapest kettle we’ve tried by any means, but $80 is a decent price for the quality and added security that comes with a top brand of kitchens such as Zwilling. So with that (ugh, don’t make me repeat that), Enfinigy gets the overall top slot in our smackdown kettle.
Features-
COOL TOUCH: This electric hot water kettle has a double-walled body that keeps water warm for longer while the outside remains cool to the touch.
PROTECTIVE LID: The pressure cooker has a 70° lid opening that prevents direct contact with hot steam
EASY TO CLEAN: Seamless stainless steel kettle for easy cleaning without residue

8. Oxo Brew Cordless Glass Kettle- Perfect tea kettle

While Zwilling was my favorite overall, I would put the Oxoho kettle right up there with the rest of the elite models. If you prefer a glass kettle to always know how much water is inside or to have a visual overview of the progress of the boiling and the cleanliness of the kettle, this is the one you have to take.
The Oxo Brew was actually the fastest and most consistent of all in the brew test, reaching 212 degrees F in less than 2 minutes and 30 seconds in all three tests I did. It also has an elegant and robust construction and goes beautifully with any kitchen theme.
Features-
Durable borosilicate glass provides thermal shock protection and a clean, pure taste the Illuminated LED switch lights up when the kettle is on and automatically shuts off when the water reaches a boil The lid opens slowly to control the release of steam and prevent hot water from splashing.
The pressure cooker is cordless when removed from the 360-degree swivel base and has an insulated bottom for easy transport Non-slip, comfortable handle that provides a secure grip and stays cool to the touch Cable wraps neatly around the base for compact and tidy storage.
The perforated stainless steel filter drains the water while pouring and is removable for easy cleaning, The pressure cooker boils up to 1.75 liters of water faster than a microwave oven and safer than a hob Features practical ounces and milliliters marking allows for accurate measurement.

How we tested kettles-
To come up with a range of kettles, we have researched recent recommendations from other online review sites. We also looked at the top-rated model’s Amazon and asked Epicurious editors for their personal recommendations.
We made sure that the final list of contestants featured models from all over the main categories – basic, temperature control, and gooseneck.
Many models at the cheaper end of the kettle spectrum are made of plastic, but we preferred not to repeatedly heat the plastic to near boiling temperature, so we decided to exclude any kettles whose decanters were made primarily of plastic from our test.
(Models with silicone or plastic handles were allowed, as hot water did not come into contact with plastic.) We were mindful of including several low-end stainless steel options among the candidates. We evaluated the following factors for each model.
How fast can a kettle boil water?
We started by filling each kettle with four cups of cold tap water and tracking the time each kettle took to heat the water to a boil. At the end of the brew cycle, we measured the temperature of the water using a Thermapen instant-read thermometer to confirm that it was indeed 212°F.
Does the water taste good?
We’ve noticed that some Amazon reviewers have complained about metallic-tasting water or other “off flavors” coming through their kettles while brewing. So, after boiling, we let the water in each teapot cool slightly before drinking and noted unusual flavors.
Is the temperature control setting accurate?
When models offered temperature controls, either manual or preset, we tested the kettles at two different settings—175°F and 200°F—and measured the results of each with a Thermapen to measure accuracy.
How does a kettle pour water? Is the spout accurate?
When you’re dealing with boiling liquids, easy pouring is not only an aesthetic concern but also a safety concern. When using each kettle, we considered how the carafe felt in our hands (was it balanced? did it have a nice grip?) and also how easy it was to pour.
Did it leak or spill? with, In particular, the gooseneck kettles – because they are specially designed to provide more control – we kept an eye on the accuracy and consistency of the water flow.
Is the kettle easy to clean?
Yes, you are boiling water right now. However, kettles get dirty over time – mainly due to the accumulation of mineral hard water – so regular cleaning is important. With that in mind, we paid attention to how easily we could wipe down the decanters and whether we could easily retrieve our hands to scrub hard-to-reach corners.
Some cheap kettles have exposed heating elements (basically a spiral of tubes that can be cumbersome to clean), so we generally tried to avoid them. For similar reasons, we also preferred cordless kettles that could be unplugged from their wired charging base.
Do you find the build quality of the kettle sturdy and safe? Is the design thoughtful?
At the basic level, we considered the design of the kettles and the ease of use. Did they feel sturdy? Were they well-balanced or bulky?
Did they stay stable on the counter or wobble while cooking?
Were the carafes easy to fill? Once filled, they had a window or fill line that made it easy to see how much was inside. They offered some attractive additional features such as bells for signaling the end of a cycle or preset temperature settings for common beverages such as green tea, black tea, and French press coffee.
