Description

A cult favorite, the Instant Pot has everything you need in a pressure cooker and more. The seven functions of this 6-liter model are a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, sauté/browning, yogurt maker, steamer, and warmer. The control panel makes it easy to cook with high and low pressure, three temperatures of sautéing, slow cooking, and reheating, all at the touch of a button. Our tester found that all temperatures and pressure sensors gave accurate results no matter what she was cooking. The cooking insert is made of stainless steel with a three-layer bottom for even cooking and an optional non-stick cooking insert is available from the manufacturer. The steam rack can be used for steam cooking or as a lifting rack for larger foods. The Instant Pot offers plenty of timer features to fit cooking into your schedule. You can choose to delay the start by up to 24 hours. The automatic keep-warm function keeps food cooked for 10 hours, while the manual keep-warm function can keep food up to almost 100 hours – more than enough for any potluck or party.
